European Venture Contest 2016

The European Venture Contest gives the opportunity to pitch at the European Venture Summit.

For the 12th consecutive year, the European Venture Contest (EVC) will display the most qualified technological entrepreneurs, whom are seeking for international venture capital in 2016. The EVC presents itself as an unique opportunity in today’s tough economy to get international exposure and secure funding, ultimately helping companies to grow and generate employment. 

Years of experience in linking the right people together

Each year over 800 start-ups apply for the EVC through a dozen of regional or technology-focussed qualifiers to present their company. Engage with top industry experts and network with potential investors. The contest element comes from the selection of the best quartile of the qualifiers, who go to the final event at the end of the year with more than 100 entrepreneurs and venture investors. 120 finalists will be reviewed by a top Selection Committee and the 25 best startups are awarded.

All selections are based on:

  • online reviews of the updated company profiles and PowerPoint presentations

  • company pitches at the Venture Forums & European Venture Summit
